Richmond Petersburg Alumni Chapter
Chartered on October, 17, 2014, the MSUAA Richmond Petersburg Alumni Chapter currently has a membership ranging in graduation years from the 1950’s to 2026. Many chapter members have not only continued their education to obtain certifications and master’s degrees, but the chapter has several members that have obtained doctorates.
Scholarships
Education is important to the Richmond Petersburg Alumni Chapter and awarding scholarships to assist students from VA in furthering their education is a major goal. The chapter has yearly fundraisers to raise money for scholarships. These fundraisers have enabled the chapter to award several thousand dollars to students who are residents of the Virgina tri-cities community. Many scholarship awardees are recruited at college fairs that the chapter participates in, both in the community and at Morgan. Continuing MSU students who are from Virginia tri-cities area are also eligible to apply, as long as they meet the criteria.
Doing Good Things
We participate in the Alumni Charity Challenge every year.
